What these floats are

A Mambobaby float is a swimming aid, not a life-saving device. It does not protect against drowning. It is designed to support a child in the water while an adult is beside them, and it is not a substitute for supervision, swimming lessons, or a certified personal flotation device.

If you need a device rated to save a life, buy a personal flotation device certified to the relevant standard — not a float.

Safe use

• Keep your child within arm's reach at all times. Never leave a child unattended in or near water, even for a moment.
• Check every strap and buckle before each use.
• Use only within the age and weight range stated on the product page.
• Stop use immediately if your child shows any sign of discomfort.
• Not for use in open water, surf, or moving water.
• If your child was born prematurely, or has any medical condition affecting posture, breathing or muscle tone, speak to your health professional before use.

Materials

The floats have a solid foam core with a waterproof outer layer and a soft, skin-friendly inner surface. There is no air chamber and no valve, so there is nothing to inflate before use.
